If machine washing is recommended, use a gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as these can damage the cooling gel technology. For the best results, hand washing is advised. Fill a basin with cold water and add a small amount of mild detergent. Gently agitate the water to create suds. Submerge the mattress pad and gently agitate it, avoiding harsh wringing or twisting. Drain the soapy water and refill the basin with clean cold water. Rinse the mattress pad thoroughly until no soap remains. Gently press the excess water out of the pad without wringing it. To dry, lay the pad flat on a clean, dry towel. Allow it to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
